FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A11 Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive for certain Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A11 airplanes due to a potential engine fire warning issue, which could be caused by higher-than-anticipated temperatures. The proposed directive would require the installation of Integrated Air Systems Controller (IASC) software version 5.0 to address the unsafe condition.
