EPA Approves Denver Water's Alternative Lead Reduction Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a variance under the Safe Drinking Water Act for Denver Water, allowing the utility to implement a Lead Reduction Program Plan as an alternative to traditional corrosion control methods, and is seeking public comments on potential criteria for extending the variance.
