Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone in Straits of Mackinac

The U.S. Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone in the Straits of Mackinac, near Mackinac City, Michigan, to protect people and contractors from potential hazards caused by remotely operated underwater vehicles, and to regulate vessel operations within 500 yards of the Tug Nancy Anne and Deck Barge MM-142.
