FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 727 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Boeing 727 airplanes, requiring modifications to the fuel quantity indicating system to prevent electrical faults that could lead to an ignition source inside the auxiliary fuel tanks.
