U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves American Society of Mechanical Engineers' Code Cases

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is updating its regulations to allow licensees and applicants to use the American Society of Mechanical Engineers' Code Cases as an alternative to engineering standards for nuclear power plant components, effective immediately.
