NRC Grants Exemption to PG&E for Humboldt Bay Power Plant, Unit 3 Insurance Coverage

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to lower the minimum coverage limit for onsite property damage insurance at the Humboldt Bay Power Plant, Unit 3, from $63.16 million to $50 million, in response to a request made by PG&E on January 13, 2020.
