Duke Energy Progress Inc. Seeks Exemption from Regulatory Requirements for Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Duke Energy Progress, Inc. an exemption to delay submission of an update to its final safety analysis report for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant Units 2 and 3, allowing the company to resubmit its combined license application at a later date.
