NRC to Consider Voluntary Rule for Revised Accident Dose Criteria

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is reviewing a petition from John G. Parillo, submitted in 2019, to develop a voluntary rule allowing nuclear power plant operators to adopt updated safety standards that better protect control room workers and the public.
