U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Revised Guidance for Facility Changes and Tests

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has released Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.187, outlining a method for licensees to make changes to their facilities and procedures without obtaining a license amendment, and to conduct tests or experiments not described in the final safety analysis report, during a 30-day comment period.
