U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Review and Update Generic Environmental Impact Statement for Nuclear Plant License Renewals

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) plans to gather public input to review and update its Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) for nuclear plant license renewals, following a public scoping process. The NRC has scheduled public meetings to gather comments on the proposed action.
