Exelon Generation Company, LLC Receives NRC Exemption for Alternative Reactor Coolant System Pressure-Temperature Limits

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Exelon Generation Company, LLC an exemption to deviate from regulatory requirements for Byron Station and Braidwood Station nuclear power plants, allowing them to use a new methodology for determining reactor coolant system pressure-temperature limits, as outlined in AREVA NP's report 'Initial RTNDT of Linde 80 Weld Materials'.
