U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Waste Control Specialists LLC Permission to Store Transuranic Waste Without License

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued an environmental assessment and found no significant impact, allowing Waste Control Specialists LLC to continue storing transuranic waste from the Los Alamos National Laboratory without a license, as previously exempted in 2014, under terms of a request made by WCS on August 24, 2020.
