Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Receives NHTSA Petition for Decision on Noncompliance

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has filed a petition with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) stating that certain Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 tires do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 139, but claims the noncompliance is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety. The company has previously reported the issue on December 10, 2019.
