NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2020-2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Trucks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received a petition from a company requesting that the 2020-2021 GMC Sierra 1500 trucks, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, be allowed to be imported into the US due to their substantial similarity to US-certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
