NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2020-2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD Trucks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received a petition from a company requesting that model year 2020-2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD trucks, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, be allowed to be imported into the US due to their substantial similarity to US-certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
