DoD, GSA, and NASA Issue Final Rule on Individual Sureties Bond Security

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have published a final rule to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and require individual sureties to pledge different types of assets as collateral for their bonds, as mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016.
