USPTO Accelerates Transition to Electronic Trademark Registration Certificates

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is accelerating the transition to electronic trademark registration certificates, with the first issuance scheduled for May 24, 2022. The new system aims to increase resilience in the registration process, while still allowing owners to order paper copies of their registrations.
