Fifth Extension of the Modified COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Pilot Program for Patent Applications

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is extending the modified COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Pilot Program, which provides expedited review of eligible patent applications, until further notice. The program, aimed at accelerating innovations in the fight against COVID-19, will continue to accept compliant requests filed on or before February 15, 2023.
