FCC Mandates STIR/SHAKEN Caller ID Authentication Framework for Voice Service Providers

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted a rule requiring all voice service providers to implement the STIR/SHAKEN caller ID authentication framework by June 30, 2021, in line with the TRACED Act and to combat illegal caller ID spoofing.
