FCC Designates 988 as National Suicide Prevention Hotline Dialing Code

The Federal Communications Commission has mandated that all covered providers implement the 988 dialing code for a national suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline by July 16, 2022, as part of the National Suicide Hotline Improvement Act of 2018.
