FDA Issues Final Rule on Premarket Tobacco Product Applications and Recordkeeping Requirements

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a final rule requiring tobacco product manufacturers to submit premarket tobacco product applications (PMTAs) and maintain records to demonstrate that their products are legally marketed, in order to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
