USDA Establishes Procedures for New Research and Promotion Programs

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a rule outlining the procedures for proposing new research and promotion programs under the Commodity Promotion, Research, and Information Act of 1996, which will require associations to post a bond to reimburse USDA for program development costs.
