USDA Announces Funding Opportunity for Persistent Poverty Farmers and Ranchers

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has published a funding opportunity announcement for community-based organizations, non-profits, and institutions of higher education to apply for financial assistance through the Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers and Veteran Farmers and Ranchers Program, and the Soil and Water Conservation Program, to support persistent poverty farmers and ranchers.
