USDA Announces Availability of Final Environmental Assessment for Cogongrass Control Efforts in Southeastern States

The US Department of Agriculture has released a final environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact for a plan to control the invasive cogongrass in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina, allowing for the implementation of an integrated management strategy without a full environmental impact statement.
