USDA Amends National Organic Program to Allow Non-Organic Tamarind Seed Gum in Organic Products

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule to add non-organic tamarind seed gum as an allowed ingredient in organic products, as certified organic tamarind seed gum is not commercially available, in accordance with the October 2018 National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) recommendations.
