EPO to Discontinue Online Filing (eOLF) Software, Switch to Online Filing 2.0

The European Patent Office (EPO) is phasing out the Online Filing (eOLF) software, with Online Filing 2.0 set to become the new standard online filing solution starting January 1, 2026. Patent filers are advised to switch to the web-based Online Filing 2.0 now to avoid disruptions.
