FHWA Rescinds Environmental Impact Statement Notice for I-85 Extension Project in Alabama

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is withdrawing its 2005 Notice of Intent for the I-85 Extension project in multiple counties of Alabama, effectively canceling plans for a final environmental impact statement (EIS) for the project.
