Boeing 747-8 Airplane Gets New Safety Standards for Oblique Seats

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued amended special conditions for the Boeing Model 747-8 airplane, requiring the installation of oblique seats with or without airbag devices or 3-point restraints, and updating safety standards for these unique design features.
