FMCSA Seeks Public Comment on ACPA's Hours of Service Exemption Request

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced that it has received an application from the American Concrete Pavement Association, Inc. (ACPA) requesting exemptions from two hours-of-service regulations for drivers of certain commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) operated by ACPA members, including a longer waiting time for rest breaks and a longer return time after using the short-haul exception.
