U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Opens National Wildlife Refuges to Hunting and Sport Fishing

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced the opening of 3 National Wildlife Refuges to hunting and 1 to sport fishing, increasing hunting opportunities at 26 refuges and expanding sport fishing at 4, resulting in an estimated 251,000 acres available for recreation, generating $711,000 in expenditures and a total economic impact of $1.6 million.
