BASF Corporation Seeks Exemption from Tolerance Requirement for Pesticide Ingredient

BASF Corporation has submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of a specific pesticide ingredient used in a chemical formulation, eliminating the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues on food or feed commodities.
