Boeing Obtains FAA Approval for Oblique Seats on 777 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued amended special conditions for the Boeing Model 777 series airplanes, allowing for the installation of oblique seats with or without airbag devices or 3-point restraints, which are considered novel design features that require additional safety standards.
