EPA Grants Exemption for Bacteriophage Active Against Erwinia amylovora in Apples and Pears

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of lytic bacteriophage active against Erwinia amylovora in apples and pears, following a petition submitted by OmniLytics, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
