DOE Announces Plan to Assess Environmental Impacts of Hawai‘i Interisland Renewable Energy Program: Wind

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced its intention to prepare a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Hawai‘i Interisland Renewable Energy Program: Wind, which aims to develop wind energy and upgrade the state's electric transmission infrastructure.
