CMS Proposes Changes to Medicaid Statistical Information System

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is proposing modifications to the Medicaid Statistical Information System (MSIS), a system used to administer Medicaid and produce statistical reports, in an effort to improve data collection and detection of fraud and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
