U.S. Department of Energy Publishes Final Rule for LED Lamp Test Procedures

The U.S. Department of Energy adopted a new test procedure for integrated LED lamps to support the implementation of labeling provisions by the Federal Trade Commission and the general service lamps rulemaking, which includes LED lamps, allowing for time to failure measurements at elevated temperatures consistent with the ENERGY STAR program requirements.
