NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for University of Maryland's Exempted Fishing Permit Application

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has preliminarily approved an Exempted Fishing Permit Application from the University of Maryland, allowing it to proceed with further consideration, following the publication of a notice to solicit public comment on the application, as required by the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and the Atlantic Coastal Fisheries Cooperative Management Act.
