NMFS Prohibits Pacific Cod Fishing by Catcher/Processors in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for Pacific cod by catcher/processors using pot gear in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area (BSAI) to prevent exceeding the annual apportionment of the 2018 Pacific cod total allowable catch allocated to catcher/processors using pot gear in the BSAI.
