New York Schedules Special Election for November 6, 2018, to Fill Congressional Seat Vacated by Louise Slaughter

The state of New York has announced a special general election on November 6, 2018, to fill the vacant seat in the U.S. House of Representatives for the 25th Congressional District, following the passing of Representative Louise Slaughter. Candidates must submit a 12-day pre-general report and a 30-day post-general report to relevant committees.
