U.S. Department of Energy Cancels Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed NextGen Project in South Dakota
The U.S. Department of Energy has cancelled the preparation of an environmental impact statement for a proposed 500- to 700-megawatt coal-fired power plant in Selby, South Dakota, following a notification from Basin Electric Power Cooperative that it is suspending further action on its project.
