National Marine Fisheries Service Requests Comments on Proposed Rule to Allow Buoy-Lineless Fishing in Closed Areas

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public input on a proposed rule that would allow trap/pot fishing without vertical buoy lines in two closed areas off the coast of Massachusetts, with the goal of promoting buoy-lineless fishing development and assessing industry interest.
