Pratt & Whitney Division (PW) Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Certain Turbofan Engines

Pratt & Whitney Division (PW) is proposing a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address an in-flight failure of a 1st stage low-pressure compressor (LPC) blade in certain turbofan engines, requiring initial and repetitive thermal acoustic imaging (TAI) inspections and blade removal for failed inspections.
