NMFS Transfers 55 Metric Tons of Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Quota to General Category

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has transferred 55 metric tons of Atlantic bluefin tuna quota to the General category for the October through November 2018 subquota period, closing the General category fishery for large, medium, and giant bluefin tuna until December 1, 2018, to prevent overharvesting.
