CDC Adds Definition of Emergency Response Employees to Infectious Diseases Document

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is updating its document on infectious diseases to include a definition of emergency response employees, who may be exposed to life-threatening diseases, in accordance with Public Law 111-87 and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009.
