U.S. Department of State Renews Advisory Commission for Public Diplomacy

The U.S. Department of State has renewed the charter of the U.S. Advisory Commission for Public Diplomacy, a bipartisan panel established in 1948 to assess public diplomacy policies and programs. The Commission will continue to submit reports to Congress, the President, and the Secretary of State to support public diplomacy initiatives.
