Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Habitat Conservation Plan Released for Collier County Landowners

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released a draft environmental impact statement and habitat conservation plan for eleven Collier County landowners, including Eastern Collier Property Owners, LLC, who are seeking a 50-year permit to take Florida panthers and other listed species due to residential and commercial development, earth mining, and low-intensity rural-land activities in a defined portion of Collier County, Florida.
