U.S. Maritime Administration Seeks Public Comments on Request for Administrative Waiver of Coastwise Trade Laws for Vessel MACONDO

The U.S. Maritime Administration is seeking public comments on a request to waive U.S.-build requirements for a vessel, MACONDO, which would allow it to carry up to 12 passengers for hire, a service that is typically only permitted on vessels three years old or more.
