Commerce Department Expands Employee Coverage Under CAPS

The Commerce Department is expanding employee coverage under the Commerce Alternative Personnel System (CAPS), a program that was first introduced in 1997, to include employees from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), as well as the Office of Atmospheric Research and other research laboratories, and will also add a new career path, the Investigative Analysis Series.
