NMFS Proposes Revision to Fisheries Finance Program to Support Replacement of Aging Fishing Vessels

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing changes to its Fisheries Finance Program to provide financing for the construction or reconstruction of fishing vessels in limited access fisheries, aiming to preserve the nation's economic benefits from commercial fishing fleets and promote safer and more fuel-efficient fishing practices.
