U.S. Navy to Regulate Marine Mammal Impact from Atlantic Fleet Training

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued regulations to govern the incidental taking of marine mammals during U.S. Navy training and testing activities in the Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing Study Area, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA).
